Salary: Mornings: £14.07 p/h + £28.14 weekly shift allowance. Afters: £14.07 p/h + £56.28 weekly shift allowance
Year of Experience Required: CNC Machining qualification or time served experience.
Roles and Responsibilities include setting and operating multiple CNC machines, reading and interpreting technical drawings, setting cutting speeds and tolerance levels, maintaining specifications, and adhering to quality assurance procedures.
Skills and Experience needed include experience in machining steels, nickels, and titanium, communication skills, and the initiative to work independently or as part of a team.

Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled shop floor team are currently looking for an experience CNC Machinist to join a progressive Sheffield-based manufacturer, supplying forged rings to aerospace and power generation industries.

Working Hours: alternating weekly shifts Mornings: Monday- Thursday: 05:00 – 12:30 Friday: 05:00– 12:00 Afters – Monday- Thursday 12:00– 19:00 Friday: 11:30 – 18:30

Roles and Responsibilities:

Setting and operating multiple CNC machines
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Setting cutting speeds and tolerance levels
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning and facing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes and adjusting and reprogramming controls.
Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Knowledge of conventional machining

Skills and Experience

CNC Machining qualification or time served experience.
Experience in machining steels, nickels, and titanium.
Communication skills
The initiative to work on your own or as part of a team.
