Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Team are delighted to be working in partnership with a manufacturing business based within the Rotherham area.
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team at this exciting time of expansion.

SALARY: up to £35,000

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 6am – 4.15pm

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To be able to program Mazak and Mori Seiki CNC machinery
To set and operate CNC machines with mazatrol and fanuc controls
To work to customer specifications with minimum supervision once trained
To work to tight tolerances and be responsible for your own work ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times
To work to your own initiative and understand the manufacturing process
Report any tooling requirements to your immediate supervisor
Keep a clean and manageable working area
To take responsible approach to Health, Safety and Environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate
Ability to identify hazards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Must be able to work from detailed drawings
Program directly onto the machines
Must be able to work to tight tolerances
