Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Shifts: Days

Salary: 19 per hour

Working with one our long-standing clients in Sheffield, who manufacture products for a range of different industries including nuclear, energy and oil & gas. Working on heavy industrial machinery, they are looking to recruit a permanent electrical maintenance engineer to join their team.

Job Role:

To carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of machinery including overhead cranes, shotblasting machines, welding equipment and more.
Immediately respond to breakdowns, carrying out fault diagnosis in a safe and timely manner.
Fault find on a range of electrical equipment including 3 phase systems.
Ensure safety practices and policies are adhered to, particularly working within heavy engineering or steelworks.
Have a good knowledge of health & safety and work with the maintenance manager for continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements:

Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical discipline and have experience within an electrical maintenance role.
Experience within heavy engineering would be beneficial.
Be proficient in PLC's (advantageous) and operating workshop machinery.
Control panel building would also be an advantage.
