Interim Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager Location: Sheffield (Hybrid working) Type: c6 month contract - could be extended longer Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum Elevation Interim Accountancy & Finance division are excited to be working with a well known business based in Sheffield city centre as they look to appoint an experienced Financial Compliance & Reporting Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and enhance the financial reporting and compliance service, overseeing financial transactions company-wide.
- Ensure the integrity of finance systems and adherence to external regulations and internal policies.
- Manage the external audit process, contributing to the implementation of the company's strategy.
- Provide strategic direction in financial reporting and compliance activities, including year-end accounts preparation.
- Utilise strong communication skills to advise stakeholders across the business on financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Contribute to the company's financial sustainability by offering high-quality finance-related reporting and advice.
- Work closely with external auditors, providing relevant documentation as requested
- Collaborate with the Finance and Procurement Team on diverse activities, from revenue collection to research proposal costing.
Required experience:
- Full finance Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role and managing a team
- Strong systems experience including Excel
- Must be available to commit to interim contract for minimum of 6 months
