HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
- 1-2-1Monthly Sessions (via MS Teams) with a Skills Coach:
- Active Learning – you will be taught the Units (above) with the Qualification Programme
- Progress Reviews
- 6 hours a week Apprenticeship Study Time, to focus on:
- Assignments, revision, training & development activities
- Hours are agreed with your manager, either split across the week, or on a set day
- Study and completion of ‘Certificate in Accounting’ (Mandatory Qualification) consisting of:
- 4 Modules, each takes approx. 2 months to complete
- 4 Exams, taken online. Exams include;
- Introduction to Bookkeeping
- Principles of Bookkeeping Controls
- Principles of Costing
- The Business Environment
- Independent Study:
- You manage your own study time, how and when you study, and determine your own pace
- You will have access to a range of tools and resources:
- 1-2-1 Sessions with a Dedicated AAT Tutor
- Group Webinars
- Interactive online Enhanced Classrooms with BPP , including Pre-recorded Lectures

Established for 28 years, Number Crunchers are a small accountancy practice, who support small businesses across a range of industries, including sole traders, start-ups, limited companies and franchises.

DAY to DAY, you will….
- Basic inputting, through accountancy software
- Work on excel
- Scanning/Auto Entry/Hubdoc
- Filing and preparation of Purchase/Sales Invoices in readiness for input
- Dealing with clients via phone and email

Apprenticeships are very demanding; you’re working towards a qualification whilst working full time! You’ll need to be committed and motivated as there is lots of self-guided work involved. PLUS, you need GOOD …..

- GCSE or equivalent English and Maths grade 5/B or above
- UK Residency (MUST have lived in the UK for 3 years+)
- Live locally (PREFERABLE – bus routes are not ideal)
