Cover Supervisor

Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £115 per day
Contract: Full Time, Long Term (Starting September)

About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a full-time, long-term position in Sheffield starting in September. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience and support the learning of students across various subjects.

Job Summary:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
• Implement lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Provide support and assistance to students in their educational activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Engage students in their learning and provide help where needed.
• Support the school staff in various administrative and organisational tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
