Field-based Engineers – £15.00-£19.00p/h – Sheffield, Yorkshire

The Role

Are you skilled at troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems? Can you handle the demands of maintaining IC engines and brake systems? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for experienced Field-based Engineers to join our team. You will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the reliability and functionality of equipment directly at customer locations. Your role will predominantly cover the West and South Yorkshire regions, providing essential maintenance, service, and repairs.

Our working hours are 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday (half hour unpaid lunch).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of engineering equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate service records.
  • Uphold strict health and safety regulations.

The Benefits

  • 30 minutes total travel time per day is to be given by the engineer

The Person

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Fork Lift industry or a similar field such as HGV & plant, military, or associated motor vehicle trades.
  • Proven ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
