Adept Resourcing are excited to be working with a well-established precision engineering company based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Manual Miller to join their team.
As part of a busy and growing manufacturing environment, your role will entail operating manual milling machines with tailor-made work.
You'll report to the Team Leader and handle these responsibilities on a day-to-day basis.
SHIFTS – 2 or 3 shifts patterns are available, option of mornings and afters, afters and nights or rotating 3 shifts.
SALARY – Ranging depending on shifts - £28,000 - £30,000
Responsibilities:
- Configuring machines to match engineering drawing specifications
- Maintaining high-quality standards for produced parts
- Ensuring production targets are met
- Implementing 5S principles
- Documenting and communicating any problems or concerns
- Safely operating and managing manual milling machines
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manual Milling Machinist
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances
- Ensure that all duties are carried out meeting health and safety guidelines
