- A clear understanding and responsibility of unloading / loading of vehicles etc safely
- Ensuring prestart checks are completed and documented reporting all defects
- Management of daily workloads and stock levels ensuring all orders are fulfilled and stock systems are updated and maintained accurately
- Improve processes, mentoring the team and offering hands on support at all times
- Communicate performance regularly and plan, escalating any issues
- Responsibility for continuous team improvement, mentoring and training of all current and new starters with effective supervision and welfare checks
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested of you by management
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience within a warehouse environment
- A self-starter using your initiative to reach goals and solve problems
- Analytical with great attention to detail
- A can-do attitude with a proactive mind set
