QHSE MANAGER

We are looking for a motivated QHSE Manager to join a market leader in their respective industry. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be entrusted to lead parts of the business right from the start with responsibility for key results and involve managing hard and soft services, site and facilities maintenance, HSE group and improvement projects for the site. The position will appeal to a strong HSEQ professional looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • Drawing-up internal fire safety and health and safety policies/strategies and planning safe operational
  • procedures.
  • Manage and maintain management systems ISO9001:2015, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • to a high standard.
  • Ensure that the Company complies with COSHH and REACH requirements.
  • Ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to in all departments.
  • Undertaking risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and determining ways of reducing risks.
  • Regular inspections of premises and continuous observation and implementation of safety regulations
  • and ensuring compliance of same.
  • Reporting on fire safety and health & safety matters and communication of findings with management.
  • Ensuring that quality objectives are managed and complied with.
  • Ensuring that the Company meets requirements of the Quality procedures manual to achieve and
  • maintain accreditation and certification.
  • Preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, quality, and customer-service
  • standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements.
  • Communicating findings with management.
  • Carrying out material testing to BS EN 10204 requirements and completing material testing reports.
  • Handling of customer complaints and ensuring corrective actions are identified and carried out.
  • Scheduling and completing periodic internal audits of the management systems to ISO 9001:2015, ISO
  • 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.
  • Scheduling periodic management review meetings to meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
