Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.


Our client is a well-established leading firm of solicitors based in Sheffield.  They are a forward-thinking organisation and one of the leading law firms in South Yorkshire well known for delivering excellent levels of client care.

They are now looking for a Private Client Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE and a comprehensive knowledge of all Wills, Trusts, and Probate matters to join their Private Client department and work alongside the Head of Department and Operations Manager on a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Advising and supporting clients on estate planning matters, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection, Estate and Trust administration
  • Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trust deeds and documents
  • Dealing with high net worth clients, trusts and estates
  • Preparing and filing tax returns, including annual trust tax returns

Who are they looking for

You will be motivated, driven and client focused and be able to demonstrate:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong drafting and presentation skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, take responsibility, and display initiative
  • Commitment to professional development
  • STEP membership is preferred but not essential

Working hours – 9.00am -5.00pm Mon-Fri (flexible e.g. 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm etc), 1 hour for lunch
Possibility of hybrid working - minimum 3 days in office
