Job Title: Paralegal - Family/Child CareSalary: £22,222 - £23,000Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire,Contract: Permanent, Full timeRole Overview & Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support a team of experienced solicitors and legal executives. In this hybrid administrative and paralegal role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services through a blend of administrative support and legal assistance. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Drafting and dispatching correspondence to clients, counsel, and other key stakeholders
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, including contracts, witness statements, and court bundles
  • Conducting basic legal research under the supervision of solicitors
  • General office tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying legal documents
  • Transferring files and relevant case information to the billing department
  • Managing and coordinating team diaries, court deadlines, and client appointments
  • Updating and maintaining accurate case files within the case management system
  • Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and post in a professional and timely manner
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for client meetings and court hearings as required
  • Ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and legal procedures
