Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a reputable manufacturing company looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Sheffield with immediate effect.

Salary - £26.500 - £30,000
Monday to Thursday 8:00am till 4.30pm Friday 8:00am till 1:00pm
Holidays are 25 days plus stats

Responsibilities of the role include:

Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults and carrying out repairs to maximise production output and plant availability
Ensure all PPM activity is carried out
Determine whether parts need to be purchased from suppliers or produced in house
Carry out general maintenance of the site such as oiling and greasing and maintaining existing jigs and fixtures
Adhering to existing working practices, methods, procedures and identify improvements
Work in accordance with safe systems of work, ensuring health and safety standards are always adhered to.

We are keen to speak with A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with the following:

Time served experience within a manufacturing environment
Apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (preferable)
Team player attitude
Strong mechanical knowledge with some electrical knowledge
Safety conscious
