Job: Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Estimator
Salary: Competitive up to £42k
Area: Sheffield
Ascend Talent is seeking a VDA to join an accident repair centre based in Yorkshire. As a VDA you will be responsible for all damage assessment, negotiation & customer liaison aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.
Responsibilities: As a Vehicle Damage Assessor you will be responsible for;
- Assessing damage to vehicles and identifying the correct repair methods.
- Generating and tracking estimates using industry standard platforms and liaising with customers.
- You will have communication with multiple stakeholders across the business internally & extrenally.
- The successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail to accurately assess damage to vehicles.
- With use of the relevant repair and bodyshop system to create and track estimates.
Experience/Skill:
- Background of VDA or Estimator role
- Experience using Audatex
- 1-3 years experience is required
- Negotiation and communication skills
- ATA qualifications desirable
Package:
- Up to £42k Salary
