Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a Temporary Payroll Assistant into their team on a full time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities of Temporary Payroll Assistant:

  • Ensuring Payroll service deliverables are met by the third-party payroll provider and assist with implementing changes required based on legislative and business need
  • Based on output from the third-party Payroll provider assist with the reconciliation
  • You will also provide advice and guidance to HR colleagues on all aspects of Payroll
  • Maintain efficient document retrieval for all payroll cycles
  • Ensuring appropriate approvals and audit controls are in place
  • Assist with the administration of the company employee benefit schemes and provide scheme advice to HR operations

Person Specification:

  • CIPP qualified or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of PAYE and benefits legislation
  • Numerate, organised and administratively strong 
  • Experience of end-to-end payroll processes 
  • Excellent IT skills – Excel, Word, Payroll Systems 
  • Strong audit and compliance knowledge
