For: Production Supervisor

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for an engineering company in the Sheffield area who are looking for an experienced production supervisor to join their existing team.
Duties:
- Management of the existing team, including appraisals, absence management, and return to work paperwork
- Ensure production is running smoothly and in a safe manner
- Investigation of quality issues and ensure root cause corrective action is taken
- Organise, plan and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines
- Skills management by use of the skills matrix, running skills assessments and identifying skills gaps.
- Creating, implementing and verifying the training plans.
- To control and reduce production costs with the shopfloor areas
Experience Needed:
- Previous experience in Manufacturing/Engineering
- Experience managing the daily and weekly production of a busy department.
- Able to demonstrate an excellent record of successful project planning and execution.
- Previous experience in a similar role
Salary up to 38,000 per annum
