Business Development Manager. Construction/House Builders

45,000 Basic + 55,000 OTE uncapped commission + 5,000 Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits.

This is a field sales / business development manager role with a rapidly growing organisation selling into the construction sector, including major house builders and construction companies at Group and Regional level. Your time will be spent client side; understanding their needs and tailoring the service offering. You will be proactive and manage the full sales cycle.

This role requires an individual that understands how to maximise every opportunity. This role offers a clear career path with opportunities to move into Sales Management. Unusually my client does not require any product knowledge. They are simply looking for the very best Business Development Manager who has experience in the construction / M&E market.

The role is home based, however you will spend the majority of your week on the road meeting clients. This is a client facing, consultative sales role that requires an individual that is confident, well presented with excellent communication skills.

This is a consultative business development role and requires an individual that understands the complexities of developing long-term client relationships.

Above all, you will be an achiever, perhaps frustrated by a lack of autonomy or lack of ability to demonstrate your commercial creativity and entrepreneurship in your current role. You will be a consummate professional that is well presented and possessing superb communication skills, both written and verbal.
