The role
The desired Design Technology Teacher will be working in a secondary school in Sheffield, a school with exceptional behaviour and attitudes to learning, with leadership that is student focused, reflective and strategic. The setting includes a sixth form which is one of the highest achieving sixth forms in the City of Sheffield. You will be working with students with a wide range of ability levels from diverse backgrounds. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but experience of teaching a number of DT disciplines would be hugely advantageous.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of DT Teacher, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Secondary Design Technology with at least one specialism of Product Design, Electronics, Food Technology, Textiles, Resistant Materials up to GCSE or the BTEC Construction or Engineering Program.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
