Position : Bench Fitter, Manual Machinist, Tool Room Technician, Grinder
Location : Sheffield
Sector : Engineering, manufacturing
Salary : £23,000 - £27,000
Hours of Work : Monday to Thursday days only - 4 day week with no shifts
About the postion :
- All aspects of manual machining, i.e. grinding, (both surface and cylindrical) turning, milling etc.
- Utilisation of precision / optical measuring equipment to produce parts to drawing tolerance.
- Testing tooling prior to release
- Well established Sheffield manufacturer in the engineering sector
Skills & Abilities:
- Self-Motivated.
- Attention to Detail.
- Good coordination.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Problem Solving Skills
- Previous experience of working as a bench fitter, mechanical technician, ginder, manual machinist etc
- Apprentice trained preferred but not essential
