Job Role: TIG WelderLocation: SheffieldShift: Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pmSalary: Salary £30,000 - £33,000 per annum dependant on experienceMetalis are working in partnership with a specialist Powder Metallurgy business in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled TIG Welder on a permanent basis.Job Duties:
- TIG Welding
- Completing welding of canisters and fill stems to a high (leak proof) standard
- Coordinate with Lead welder/Production Manager with regards to upcoming projects, timescales, and project deadlines
- Assisting Lead welder/Production Manager to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Overseeing canister fabrication, crimping, and welding after crimp
- Checking and maintaining own equipment to ensure welding capability is always available.
- Checking stock levels of relevant materials to ensure welding capability is always available.
- Ensuring material is cleaned and deburred prior to welding.
- Any reasonable task as requested by the Lead welder/Production Manager
Salary, Shifts & Benefits:
