My client is a leading provider of high-quality stainless steel products and solutions, serving various industries including construction, infrastructure and engineering. Base in Sheffield, the heart of the UK steel industry, they pride themselves on their expertise, innovation and commitment to excellence. This client is looking at bringing in an experienced Welder to join the team.

(Welder) - Position Overview

Set up welding equipment including selecting appropriate welding techniques, electrodes and materials.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and welding procedures to determine welding requirements.
Perform welding operations using various techniques such as TIG, MIG and Stick welding.
Welde stainless steel components with precision ensuring proper fit-up, alignment and weld penetration.
Inspect weld joints for quality, completeness and compliance with specifications making necessary adjustments or repairs as required.
Collaborate with other team ember, including engineers and fabricators. To optimise production processes and meet project deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, hours worked and completed work orders.
Use of machines such a press brakes and CNC Lathes.

(Welder) - Position Requirements

Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in stainless steel fabrication.
Proficiency in TIG MIG and Stick welding techniques.
Familiar with welding equipment and tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Able to use Press brake machines and CNC Lathes.
Experience welding with Stainless Steel

(Welder) - Position Remuneration

Pay is £14 - £17 per hour (dependant on experience)

Monday to Friday
8am - 4pm
