Our team is composed of dedicated professionals who work together to deliver exceptional results in a collaborative and supportive environment. Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a motivated and experienced HGV2 Driver to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, furniture, and equipment to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.As an integral part of our operations, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of service and contributing to our overall success. Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and manoeuvre HGV2 vehicles in accordance with company policies and regulations
  • Load and unload goods, furniture, and equipment onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
  • Plan routes efficiently to minimize travel time and meet delivery schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics and optimize workflow.
Requirements
  • Valid HGV2 driving license with a clean driving record.
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the logistics, removal, or installation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
