Position: Product Technologist

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexitime opportunities
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Technologist to join one of Europe's leading glass fibre manufacturers. Our client prides themselves on their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and their innovative approach to producing world-class products.
As a Product Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and development within the existing business, as well as assisting with future technical projects.
Main Duties:
- Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with legislation
- Coordinate regular testing of products to identify and address faults, providing evaluations to improve their quality
- Develop and update technological processes for production
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to parameters and specifications
- Develop improvement plans for products and processes, analysing data to identify areas for enhancement
- Conduct research and development work in laboratories and production facilities
- Utilise company manufacturing systems to maintain accurate written and electronic records
Position Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Experience in directing and managing others
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in implementing ideas to simplify and improve business processes
- Good understanding of IT systems and excellent Excel skills
