Our client is a successful and highly reputable manufacturer.  They are looking for an Electrical Assembler to join their team.  They are looking for people with electrical experience that are used to working with hand and power tools, and that can follow diagrams / instructions / schematics with precision. 

It would be ideal if you have electrical experience within the automotive industry, however this is not essential.  e.g. Dealing with vehicles like; Coaches / Trucks / Buses / HGV / LGV / PSV / Motorhomes / Emergency / Military vehicles / Cars / Lorries). 

This role would suit someone with experience in Electrical Assembly, previous job titles include; Electrical Assembler / Electrical Assembly Operative / Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Technician / Vehicle Assembler (Electrics) / Auto Engineer / Coach Builder / Auto Electrician / etc.

Salary £12.82 per hour + Overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, Day shift (Hours to be confirmed).

General Duties (dependent on job role):

•    Electrical assembly and wiring of vehicles by following technical instructions, diagrams, schematics
•    Use of hand tools and power tools
•    Crimping, wiring, and possibly soldering
•    Ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard
•    Working within the health & safety guidelines
•    Working in line with Company standards and H&S requirements

Requirements:

•    Previous experience in electrical assembly (experience in an automotive manufacturing related role would be favoured, but not essential) 
•    Experience using hand tools and power tools
•    Reliable and hard-working
•    Have an eye for detail, and the ability to do a consistent, quality job
