The Company:
Our client manufactures paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.
Salary:
Circa 15.00-25.00 per hour PAYE
Location:
This role will be site based, at our client's manufacturing site in Shildon.
Safety Coordinator Role:
Your main duties will be:
- To be the Health & Safety representative within manufacturing.
- Conducting risk assessments and writing method statements.
- Reviewing and writing SOPs for manufacturing and maintenance operatives.
- Investigating and reporting on accidents and near misses.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing, ideally in the chemical industry.
- A NEBOSH qualification.
- Great communication skills and a fantastic work ethic.
- This role will receive minimal supervision so the successful candidate will need to be very self driven.
