Superintendent Pharmacist
33 Saltaire Road, Shipley, BD18 3HH
- Full time - Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm (one hour lunch)
- Permanent position
- £55,000 - £57,000 per annum

About the Role:
As Superintendent Pharmacist, you'll oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining professional standards. Your role involves managing a dedicated team, liaising with healthcare professionals, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pharmacy operations and meet KPI targets
- Provide guidance to patients and team members
- Oversee stock ordering and dispensary deliveries
- Maintain accurate registers and records
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals
- Ensure building security and alarm systems
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possess an MPharm degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Willing to work 5 days a week - Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (one hour lunch)
- You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date
- Proficient in pharmacy computer systems and Microsoft applications an up-to-date knowledge of changes within pharmacy
- Ideally knowledge of the CareMeds electronic system
- Understanding of relevant NHS contractual requirements
- knowledge of and ability to make the monthly NHS claim via the electronic claims system
- Understanding of professional regulations relevant to pharmacy operations
- Enthusiastic with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Provide an excellent level of customer service and patient care
- Flexible attitude
