Senior Care Assistant

A lovely client seeks a permanent full-time live-out Senior Care Assistant in Shoreham-by-Sea (Sussex). The Senior Care Assistant is needed to work 37.5 hours per week on a rota-based schedule. This Senior Care Assistant position is due to start ASAP.

The Senior Care Assistant’s duties include:

• Lead the team of Care Assistants

• Train new staff

• Create care plans and ensure their delivery

• Monitor general health and vital signs of residents

• Deliver activities to stimulate and engage residents

• Fill in medical reports

• Communicate with families about their loved ones’ progress

• Assist with personal care requirements

• Serve meals and assist with feeding when required

• Ensure the residents are safe and comfortable at all times
