Do you have purchase ledger experience? Are you looking for a new role? My client, established in the 1960’s is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join its small but friendly team. With a customer base covering the whole of the UK, this is an exciting role for someone who is looking to develop their career within a finance department.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an Accounts department - ideally purchase ledger.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Microsoft Business Central, Navision or similar ERP system
  • Good eye for detail
  • Experience of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • Own transport due to location

Duties and responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately onto the ERP system
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Payment of suppliers using BACS and some cheque payments
  • Maintain supplier records on the ERP System
  • File all documents accurately.
  • Assist with supplier and colleague’s queries.
