Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a long-term, full-time position in a fantastic primary school in Telford. The role is set to start ASAP, offering you the chance to make a real impact on young learners' education.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons to primary-aged children.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
Help with the planning and preparation of lessons and activities.
Support students' emotional and social development in and outside the classroom.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting (ideal but not essential).
A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Patient, flexible, and adaptable with a positive approach to challenges.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
