We are seeking an experienced and qualified Primary School Teaching Assistant for a long-term, full-time role in a primary school in Shrewsbury. The position is set to start in January, and we are looking for a dedicated professional who is flexible and able to support various year groups and age ranges across the primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general classroom support across different year groups, assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management.

Offer one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them with their learning and development.

Assist with classroom behaviour management to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Support the teacher in planning, preparing lessons, activities, and resources.

Contribute to the emotional and social development of students, helping them thrive both academically and personally.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3) or equivalent certification.

Strong experience in primary education, with the ability to support a range of year groups and age ranges.

Flexibility and adaptability to work with different students' needs across the primary phase.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both teachers and students.

Passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Patience, initiative, and a positive approach to challenges.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
