Are you an experienced leisure/ hospitality Manager or Assistant Manager looking for a new challenge? Would you like to head up the team of a brand new and exciting leisure/gaming experience in the South East? This is a role that is NOT to be missed!

Role: Centre ManagerSalary: £50,000 per annum + bonus incentivesHours: 40 hours per week on a shift pattern (including weekend work)Location: Sittingbourne- Driver neededMy client is setting up a new and exciting leisure facility which is sure to be a hit with people of all ages across the south east; ideal for birthday parties, corporate events or just a fun day out for friends and family. They are looking for a Centre Manager to join the brand new team and lead from the front to run the operation.

Your focus will be to ensure each visitor has a great experience- from a friendly welcome at reception, to a great game in the arena, to a brilliant relax in the bar. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the site including:

  • Operations Management across all locations: Gaming arena, Reception, Bar, Meeting, room
    • Making sure the areas are clean, staffed and running efficiently
    • Managing bookings portal
    • Handling incoming calls and queries from customers
  • Health and safety for the building
    • Overseeing site compliance and checks
    • Ensuring visitors have signed waivers and staff are following protocol
  • Leading, supervising, and managing a team of 5
    • Including rotas and 1-2-1s
  • Budget and Financial
    • Tracking and monitoring money coming in vs money going out (training given)
    • Overseeing centre budgets for purchasing and stock
    • Ordering stock from suppliers

The perfect candidate for the roleExcited, Enthusiastic and Energetic! Leading from the front you will need to be passionate about your work and looking after your customers. Ideally you have proven experience in a Management or Assistant Management role in the leisure/hospitality industry. You must have a commercial mind and be able to understand/learn how to manage budgets and achieve sales targets.
