Join a global leader in formwork technology, where impressive infrastructure and building projects are constructed with our expertise. . We are looking for a Accounts Assistant to support both their Credit Control and Purchase Ledger functions.

Day to day of the role:

  • Divide duties between supporting the Credit Controller and the Purchase Ledger Clerk, with an estimated 3 days a week on Purchase Ledger and 2 days on Credit Control.
  • Process accounts payable, including coding invoices, entering invoices into SAP, checking supplier statements, resolving queries, and maintaining supplier account integrity.
  • Conduct monthly payment runs for suppliers and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Handle the processing and payment of expenses according to procedure.
  • Post company credit card expenses and bank outgoings daily on SAP.
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation for auditors and general administrative duties.
  • Provide holiday and absence cover for the Purchase Ledger Clerk and Credit Controller.
  • Adhere to the company’s compliance rules and procedures.
  • Support the Credit Controller with customer account management, credit limit approvals, and collections.
  • Assist with the Dunning process and liaise with customers regarding statements and queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong IT and Excel skills.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience at a similar level.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Team player with good analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
