Position Summary
HR Manager (French-speaking)
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a proactive, experienced HR Manager to support the UK head office and multiple European sites. This role requires both strategic HR leadership and a hands-on approach to people management, policy implementation, and organisational development.
The successful candidate will spend approximately 70% of their time at the Sittingbourne office and 30% travelling across European sites. Fluency in French is essential to effectively support the wider European teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to UK and European site managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures across the group, ensuring consistency and legal compliance in all jurisdictions
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and exit processes
- Collaborate with senior management on organisational development, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Lead or contribute to pan-European HR projects and policy standardisation initiatives
- Travel to sites across Europe to provide on-the-ground HR support and conduct HR audits
- Ensure compliance with employment laws across relevant countries
- Provide reporting and insights to leadership on key HR metrics
HR Manager (French-speaking)
Required Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR business partner role, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial setting
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law; familiarity with European HR practices is an advantage
- Fluency in French is essential
- Experience working in a multi-site or international organisation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Willingness and ability to travel across Europe
Desirable Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 or above
