Supply Desk are delighted to be working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ mixed secondary school, looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of English.
About the Role:
- Teach engaging and inclusive English lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, using creative strategies to make learning accessible to all students.
- Encourage a love of literature and language while supporting students to achieve their academic potential.
- Create a positive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an inspiring curriculum and participate in school activities to enhance the student experience.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching English across all secondary key stages (KS3-5).
- A passion for English and a commitment to helping students develop a love for the subject.
- A creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
