Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for an organised and proactive Payroll Assistant for an award-winning SME in the Skegness area.Monday-Friday 8:30 17:00.

The role of the Payroll Assistant

Working with company management and the HR Advisor to ensure that all payroll data is gathered and submitted on time to be processed on a fortnightly and monthly basis

Creating and maintaining payroll spreadsheets, ensuring data input is correct

Helping to answer queries related to the payroll in partnership with the HR Advisor

Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the Data Protection Act at all times

Liaising with an outsourced payroll company, as required

Maintaining the annual leave records (taken, owed, booked etc.)

Liaising with company management regarding payroll queries

Ensuring New Starter and Leaver information is processed in a timely manner

Maintaining the absence records including gathering/submitting fit notes for SSP purposes

The ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Assistant

Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

Previous payroll experience in a role working with large amounts of data preferred

Strong attention to detail and great organisation skills

Driving license preferred
