Are you a part-qualified accountant looking for an exciting opportunity in Finance?.

We are currently seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant on a full time basis to assist our client with the preparation and financial management of their accounts function.

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of the management accounts whilst providing stakeholders with the essential visibility for strong financial management. We're looking for someone with good finance experience, preferably part-qualified, and a strong attention to detail.

DUTIES

  • Month-End Accounts Preparation: Prepare accurate and complete month-end accounts, ensure all journal postings, accruals and prepayments are accurate and complete and delivered within month-end timelines.
  • Month-End Reporting: Prepare month-end analysis, commentary and financial results packs, ensuring delivery within reporting timelines.
  • Produce weekly profit and loss reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling key allocation accounts and resolving variances by collaborating cross-functionally across the business.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis on comoany spends to provide visibility and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous review of financial processes, with the goal of enhancing the efficiency of allocations.
  • Maintain and produce cost analysis and financial performance reviews.
  • Project work - as and when required.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA part-qualified
  • Recent work experience within management accounts
  • Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
  • Confident liaising at all levels - with a clear concise telephone manner
