Working closely with the Head of Merchandising and Senior Merchandiser, the role will focus on day to day stock movements and accuracy within the stores and warehouse network whilst supporting the wider business with administration support; including stock deliveries, stock administration.

Client Details

A great opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a luxury multi product retailer. The business sells online and through a network of stores which are UK & International. You the Assistant Merchandiser will support the Buying and Merchandising functions at Head Office; balancing the detailed logistics and stock planning with strong attention to detail and communication. The role will combine a strong mix of organisation skills with clear communication skills.

Description

Assist with Range selection

Collate photo samples, book in, check all have labels etc

Order new season colours, knitdowns, swatches for range packs, thread etc for stores

labels/swing tickets/suede etc

Collate store faulty items/customer returns and send to factory for repair

Order staff uniform, for existing staff at the start of each season and for any new starters

Packaging developments

Product development assistance

Benchmarking of competition

Liaising with warehouse on all store transfers and replenishment

New stock delivery instructions

Management of store replenishment

Assist with Monday Trading reports

Adhoc analysis and reports as required

Creation of seasonal Range Masters for stores

Size breakdown for purchase orders

Profile

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrable communication skills
  • Organisational skills and time management
  • Travel in UK (as required)
