Location: RAF Cranwell
Salary: £27,461.35
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week

Overview:
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Survival Equipment Technician on a permanent basis due to growth located at their RAF Cranwell depot.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Appropriately task manpower resource within their area of responsibility so that scheduled maintenance programs are maintained, and emergent tasks are rectified in good time.
- Act as a source of trade knowledge and maintenance process guidance to junior colleagues in the department.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data with discrepancies, errors and omissions reported appropriately for rectification
- Ensure staff hold and can display currency in all maintenance authorities required whilst carrying out maintenance
- Ensure staff are briefed on all latest safety, company and maintenance notices and that understanding is confirmed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience of Parachute maintenance and packing.
- Experience of Life Raft maintenance and packing
- RAF Flying Clothing Maintenance and Fitting.
- RAF Survival Equipment Course or civilian equivalent.
- Q-SE-AC or Q-AV-MED
