Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Air Export Operator for a well-established growing Freight Forwarder based in Colnbrook, Berkshire.
Duties:-
- Contact shippers.
- Arrange collections.
- Complete MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements i.e.operator variations, Promo references etc.
- Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin.
- Complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes.(IPR, BONDED,EXPORT LICENCING etc).
- Provide quotations & understand market rates.
- High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights, departure etc.
- Additional bonus qualifications - Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained up to level CO (Cargo Operative).
- Ability to provide a safety net to ensure nothing is missed.
- Adhere to a fast-paced environment with strong email management & response.
- You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.
Required Experience:-
- Export Airfreight experience
- Customs knowledge
- Full 5 year work reference history
Working hours : Monday- Friday (0900-1730).
