Aspiring Psychologist - Slough

Your role will be pivotal in providing support for students who struggle with learning needs and difficulties.

Your key responsibilities as a SEN Support Worker will be something like:

  • Facilitating therapeutic techniques with the students
  • Ensuring the classroom is a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Track and keep score of students' progress
  • Manage classroom behavior - with the support of the class teacher
  • Encourage the children to achieve their best

The successful SEN Support worker:

  • The successful SEN Support Worker will be an individual who is calm, works well under pressure and has a positive and encouraging personality.
  • You will ideally have some experience working with children but most of all be eager to learn.
  • Experience working with children who have additional needs will be advantageous, but this is not essential.
  • You must have an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
