Day-to-day of the role:- Delivering subject-specific content to students in line with the national curriculum.
- Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
- Creating and maintaining a classroom environment that promotes learning and is conducive to the academic and social development of all students.
- Assessing and recording students’ progress and providing grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborating with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participating in regular meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Contributing to the development of the school curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience in teaching at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the subject area and the current curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to implement effective teaching strategies.
