I am looking for experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives to carry out preparation and maintenance of all sports playing surfaces as well as general estate duties.
Skilled and dedicated Grounds Maintenance staff required to join a dynamic team in a busy commercial area. You will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of grounds maintenance as directed by the head of grounds.

Responsibilities:
To perform various grounds maintenance duties across a busy environment. This will mainly include:
- Line marking, mowing, fertilizing and cricket pitch preparation and maintenance.
- Sports surface preparation including grass, hardstanding and artificial turf.
- Goal post erection, dismantling, storage and maintenance.
- Keeping borders and footpaths free from litter at all times.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and health and safety guidelines.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to understand requirements and provide an exceptional service.
Start date: ASAP
Location: Solihull
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday
Duration: Permanent
Pay rate: 25,372 - 28,145 per year (depending on experience)
Requirements:
- Ideally a City & Guilds or NVQ in Sports Turf or Horticulture
- 3 - 5 years minimum Grounds Maintenance experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ideally previous experience working in an educational environment as well as previous experience of maintaining cricket pitches.
