SENIOR COLLECTIONS ANALYST (12-month FTC)

UP TO £35,000

SOLIHULL

This is an exciting new opportunity to work a 12-month FTC for the 2nd largest banking group in Europe. The bank is going through a large digital transformation making it an exciting time for the business with exciting digital platforms.

THE COMPANY

You will be working in the retail function of the bank across the product offerings in personal finance. This company is a trailblazer in the financial landscape offering an array of personalised and innovative solutions. As a trusted partner in the financial space this company dedicates its time to empowering individuals with tailored services catering to customers unique needs.

THE ROLE

  • Conduct proactive analysis on Collections performance, identifying both positive and negative trends, and their underlying causes, to inform the Collections Management team.
  • Collaborate with the Collections Management team to investigate known performance issues, providing detailed analysis and testing hypotheses where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing collections performance, such as targeting high-priority customer segments for increased outreach efforts.
  • Generate regular management reports to monitor performance, including insightful commentary, and implement controls to manage collections activities effectively.
  • Monitor champion: challenger trials to evaluate their impacts on collections performance.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration, including with Central, to share and adopt best practices and develop necessary analytical tools and skills.
  • Deliver all tasks with a high level of accuracy and integrity, striving for precision from the outset.
  • Ensure compliance with both internal Group policies and external regulatory requirements throughout all collections activities.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong numerate degree from a Russel Group University.
  • Experience in Risk, Marketing, Collections, or Finance.
  • Strong ability to analyse data and write summary reports.
  • SQL experience is essential with additional experience in Python, SAS, and R being desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Collections and Recoveries.
  • Previous experience working with large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
