Telesales Lead Generator

Location: Solihull, B90 4NZ (Hybrid and Remote Work Options Possible)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (Basic), £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (OTE)

Our clients have been supplying, manufacturing and installing bespoke shading solutions to commercial markets for over 25 years.

The Role

To be responsible for contacting prospective customers by phone and email in order to generate lead enquiries to be passed to the Projects Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective clients using a provided database of contacts.
  • Identify and qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and timeline for potential purchases.
  • Articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services to potential clients, highlighting features and benefits that meet their requirements.
  • Schedule appointments or meetings for the sales team to further discuss the client's needs and provide quotes or proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects, including contact details, feedback, and outcomes, using CRM software.
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships, address any questions or concerns, and facilitate the progression of leads through the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on approaches for engaging with different types of leads and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate with prospects and position the company as a trusted advisor.

Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

  • Sales Training Qualifications (Desirable)

Experienced With:

  • Proficiency with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, email, and other communication tools is often necessary for tracking leads, updating records, and managing follow-up activities.

Key Skills Include:

  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential for effectively engaging prospects over the phone, understanding their needs, and articulating the value proposition of the product or service being offered.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by email using all available resources to create email correspondence designed to achieve goals.
  • Understanding sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies is crucial.
  • Knowledge of Products/Services in order to convey their benefits accurately and address any inquiries potential leads may have.
  • Persistence and Resilience: maintaining motivation even in the face of adversity.
  • Organization and Time Management: Managing a high volume of calls requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Listening Skills: Being able to actively listen to potential leads to identify their needs and tailor pitch accordingly in order to increase the chances of success.
  • Goal-Oriented and driven to achieve results is important.
  • Ethical Conduct: Maintaining professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with leads is essential for building trust and credibility
