Marketing, Communications and Social Media Executive

Full-time | near Solihull (with some travel to events)

Katie Bard is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media & Communications Executive to join our client in a brand-new role. This is an exciting opportunity to combine social media, content creation, and internal communications to help us showcase their brand, culture, and people to the wider community but also support with internal employee engagement.

This busy and varied role will entail:

  • Assisting with social media planning and content creation , capturing videos, images, and stories to promote our employer brand.
  • Reviewing performance of social platforms and helping us grow engagement.
  • Supporting with the analysis and review of social media channels.
  • Encouraging employee reviews on Indeed/Glassdoor to strengthen our employer profile.
  • Supporting internal communications and making sure messages, notice boards, and People Matters TV content are kept fresh and engaging.
  • Helping to maintain and develop our careers website with new content and updates.
  • Writing for internal channels (newsletters, posters, spotlight features, benefit updates).
  • Assisting with award submissions and external recognition projects.
  • Supporting rebrand projects, ensuring consistency across materials, tone, and design.
  • Keeping recruitment content and promotional materials up to date with talent market trends.
  • Partnering with recruiters and external channels to support talent attraction.
  • Building community links by attending events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Applicants must have previous Marketing, Social Media or Communications experience. You will be creative, with strong written and visual communication skills. Confident using social media for employer branding or marketing purposes.
