This is an inclusive faith school committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for our students.The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 teacher to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will join our friendly and supportive team, supporting the pupils, support academic and personal development.The class has a dedicated, full-time teaching Assistant, the class has approximately 25 children. However, this may change in September if any new children join. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons based on the Year 2 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and assess student progress.
  • Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to support individual student needs.
  • Participate in school events and co-curricular activities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1) students.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and development of all students.
