Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client a British multinational automobile manufacturer which produces luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles. They are looking for a Test Engineer to join their expanding team on an 5 month rolling contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull.
Job Description
As a Solution Design Manager your main responsibilities are:
- This is initially a short term Logistics Engineering Solution Design Manager role, covering the early concept phases of a potentially large scale logistics project.
- Our Client is looking for a proven Logistics leader, with broad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, processes, systems and equipment and latest market trends.
- Covering, but not limited to; In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storage media, kitting strategies, AGVs and handling equipment.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting requirements gathering, solution and layout designs, business case creation, right through to delivery and final project completion
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to lead teams
- Previous experience and background in Manufacturing Logistics
- Broad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, processes, systems and equipment and latest market trends.
- Covering, but not limited to; In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storage media, kitting strategies, AGVs and handling equipment Knowledge and experience of supporting requirements gathering, solution and layout designs, business case creation, right through to delivery and final project completion of logistics solutions.
