This Construction Contractor undertakes a broad range of Projects within the Commercial Office, Light Industrial and Logistics sectors.To support the Senior Management team the company are looking for a reliable and versatile Office Manager, with Construction/ Engineering sector experience, to undertake a broad range of tasks spanning the functions of finance, document control, purchasing, IT Administration, HR Administration.

Based in an office in Sonning, near Reading, the Office Manager will be taking on a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to, the following:, 1. Input all Sales and business costs via Sage and Construct.

2. Validate Management Accounts by cross checking with Sage data. 3. Assist in preparing year end accounts. 4. Invoice processing 5. Respond to internal/external queries regarding supplier payments. 6. Manage Creditor and debtor account controls 7. Monitoring business cash flow with the Directors 8.

Undertake quarterly VAT return calculation and submissions to HMRC with support from Accountant. 9. Manage PAYE records, reports and submission to HMRC including NI and year end assessments (i.e., P11D, P60 etc.) 10. Manage On-line banking processes 11.

Setup New employee records on Payroll system including tax codes 12. Coordinate the company Pension Scheme and liaise with provider. 13. Book hotels/travel arrangements 14. Purchase all office supplies/general requirements 15. Maintain a document control system in relation to ongoing projects 16.

Manage mobile phone contracts 17. Maintain office risk assessments 18. Manage fuel cards 19. Undertake DBS Checks, security clearances, driving licence checks 20. Work with 3rd part IT Support service providers to ensure IT Systems are properly maintained & secure 21. Provide internal support to Directors on use of Sage and other software tools 22.

Work with 3rd Party HR Consultants to ensure HR Policies and Procedures are followed correctly 23. Provide Administration support to the Directors 24. Meeting and greeting visitorsWith no day being the same, this post will provide the successful candidate with a varied and interesting role.

The successful candidate MUST have good working knowledge of SAGE ( IDEALLY SAGE CONSTRUCT) . The candidate will have worked in a similar role within the Construction or Engineering environment.It is essential that the person is a team player, is extremely well organised, reliable and professional.

In return the candidate will be rewarded with a Basic salary ranging between £40k-£46k, pension, medical, 25 days annual leave
