The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:

• Making multi drop palletised deliveries to businesses and private addresses across North Devon.
• Loading/unloading of vehicle.
• Use of company phone to update delivery progress across 2 network systems.
• Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
• Working closely with the network hubs.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 2 Day Driver:

• Must hold a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of curtain sided trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Working to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
