Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the daily manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance as required.
  • Supporting the Engineering management with continuous improvement programmes.
  • Prioritising engineering issues to minimise downtime.
  • Completing all documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with facilities maintenance and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar position, ideally within a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Additionally, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • City & Guilds in TIG/MIG wielding.
  • BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition preferred).
  • PAT testing certificate.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS packages or ERP systems.
  • Previous experience working in a GMP regulated facility or similar (BRC, ISO 9001, BETA NOPS) is preferred.
